MLK Day of Service

In honor of Dr. MLK, Jr. Holiday, on Monday, January 16th from 9am.-10am. the Monarch of Infinite Possibilities (MIP) has partnered with the Michigan Street African-American Heritage Corridor Commission to host a 1-hour environmentally focused service project to support several Churches along Michigan Avenue (on Buffalo's East side).
Participants are asked to gather at the Michigan Street Baptist Church at 8:45 am. ready to participate in painting, recycling, and indoor/outdoor clean-up projects on the Church grounds that will highlight ways to embrace clean energy and make faith-based institutions more efficient and sustainable. Instructions and supplies will be given out upon arrival. Please pre-register for the #MLK Day of Service "Green the Church" Clean-up.

MLK Day Blanket Drive
Many residents went without heat during the recent Blizzard. Warm Blankets may have been needed to keep families and seniors a little warmer. Let's give a gift of warmth for the cold winters and future storms.
NEW Blankets can be dropped off at our office at 111 Genesee Street or at WUFO Radio during normal business hours. Blankets will be distributed on MLK Day between the hours of 12 and 4.
