About the Event
Please join us as we honor our Civil War Soldiers and recognize our Medal of Honor Recipient John McHugh. Meet the brave men of Buffalo's famous Wiedrich's Battery as costumed actors they tell their stories. This unit, made up of German immigrants from Western New York, helped turn the tide of the war at Gettysburg. This event will also feature Civil War  displays and special guest speakers.Â
