About the Event

The Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor was once a vibrant neighborhood. While it's still a multiracial community with rich black history, it’s been largely disenfranchised and neglected. This presentation describes a best practice model to build up underserved communities through collaborative funding and community engagement that promotes historic tourism.

Speakers: Terry Alford, Audrey Clark, Laura Quebral, and Lillie Wiley-Upshaw.
