The Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor is a nationally and internationally recognized Buffalo neighborhood that serves as the focal point of residents’ and visitors’ experience for learning about Buffalo’s rich African American history through its vibrant neighborhoods, shops, restaurants, unique structures, historical markers, people and institutions, as well as its significant impact on local, national and international history.
Christmas in the Corridor

Join us in the Corridor for our Annual Tree Lighting Celebration at the Historic Michigan Street Baptist Church! Enjoy an evening filled with Christmas Carols led by Andrea Dabney, A special presentation by Mary Talbert: Memories of Christmas Past, a candlelight Service, hot chocolate, cookies, live music, popcorn, and so much more.

Kente Klaus stops by the Corridor with gifts of joy, Music by DJ Ras Muata, live music by the Historic Colored Musicians Club, Toy Giveaways, Holiday Market Vendors Galore this is an event the entire family will enjoy!
